Ok problem fixed. To get around the "certificate error" problem on the E71 go to menu > installations > application manager > options (left bottom key) > settings and where it says "software installation" check "all" (instead of "signed only"). That gets rid of the error and the download installs without any problems. Hope that helps anyone with the same problem I had.... oh and thanks for the download link!

Install Hide User Agent from Application Manager
Go to Control Panel and open Hide User Agent
Set user agent to
Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 2.1; en-us; dream) AppleWebKit/525.10+ (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.0.4 Mobile Safari/523.12.2
Click on the Set
Then the browser will be restarted
Now go to the browser, open http://buzz.google.com

Thank you for the review, it was informative, could you ask your friend if he faced any issues with this phone and update us, i'd appreciate your help on this.

I called up Nokia Concept store here in Bangalore and got the official confirmation that this model will not be released in India and E55 will be released later, when i asked for a reason the executive diplomatically answered - "Sorry Sir we cant reveal the details".

Anyway i'm taking a wild chance and going for a Grey market piece,
Anyone has an idea if E52 is available in Bangalore grey market and how much it would cost.

If you guys have contact details of the dealers (Bangalore grey market) then please share.

I also heard due to the bugs and problem nokia didnt gonna release in india... india is big country cannot handle service back.....normally when a handset released before 15 days nokia care persons get service training still now there was no such thingss....

feel bad if it didnt released in india :(

Hi Mascool3, I used Nokia E52 for only 3 days. I Loved the phone, the processing is fast comparing to other phones. Camera is good. I didnt find any Bugs in the software.
What I didnt like in this phone was build quality.

Hi..i was waiting to take a new phone..read about the e52 and was gonna go for it..but lately I have read it at many place that the phone has a lot of bugs and is not up to the mark in many ways like..build quality,software etc..many forums mention about the bugs in this phone...can someone tell me in case anyone has faced any problem with this phone..i would wanna hear the pro's and con's both...thanks!

It's good to see your blog. But when you blog about something, try to write your own experience, like, what your user experience was, when you operated the phone for couple of hours. There is no point writing a page of blog about the spec, which everyone is aware of or can find in so many websites. It will be great if you can update this blog or write another one with your own experience. Thank you!
